Vipul Joshi, MD
Dr. Joshi graduated from BJ Medical College and Research Center in Ahmedabad, India in 1990. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey in 1997 where he received the Best Intern Award and was named Chief Resident. He became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1997.

He practiced internal medicine for four years before he decided to further his education in Rheumatology. He began his Rheumatology Fellowship in 2001 at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated in 2003. Dr. Joshi has been practicing Rheumatology in Brandon since 2003. He founded Bay Area Arthritis and Osteoporosis to better serve the Rheumatology needs of the Tampa Bay Area.
Dr Joshi is Board Certified in Rheumatology.  He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), the Florida Society of Rheumatology (FSR), and International Society for Clinical Bone Densitometry (ISCD). He is also a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound (AIUM) in Medicine and received training in musculoskeletal ultrasound at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. Dr. Joshi is Primary Investigator for multiple national clinical research trials at BAAO. In his spare time, Dr. Joshi enjoys photography, reading, and traveling.

He resides in Tampa with his wife and two children.


Katrina Kemp, PA-C

Katrina attended the University of Florida and graduated with honors in 1999 with her Bachelor of Health Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as an Occupational Therapist for 4 years before going back to the University of Florida where she obtained her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005. She joined Dr. Joshi*s practice in 2005.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society for Physician Assistants in Rheumatology, the American College of Rheumatology's Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, and International Society for Clinical Bone Densitometry (ISCD) through which she holds her certification in clinical densiometry (CCD) for bone density testing. She is also a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound (AIUM) in Medicine and received training in musculoskeletal ultrasound at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. 

As a former certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer, she has a special interest in nutrition and fitness. She is also a certified nutritional consultant (CNC) and she is passionate about helping her patients understand the importance of good nutrition, exercise and stress relief to maximize their healing.She lives in Valrico with her husband and son and enjoys doing yoga, jogging, cooking, and gardening in her spare time.


Beth Irwin, ARNP-C

Beth attended South University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at a level 1 trauma hospital for 6 years before going back to South University where she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing with honors. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the Florida Board of Nursing.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Nurses Association, and the American College of Rheumatology’s Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals.

Beth lives in Lithia with her husband, two kids, and dog. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, traveling, and going to the beach.


Tatyana Korableva
Tatyana obtained her Master of Clinical Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Barry University in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2011. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the state of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. Prior to attending Barry University, Tatyana attended the Medical University in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She moved to the United States in 2000.

She then attended the University of South Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree. She worked as an Opthalmic Assistant in St. Petersburg, Florida for 2 years. She joined Bay Area Arthritis and Osteoporosis in February of 2012. Tatyana serves as Sub-Investigator for multiple clinical research studies at BAAO.

She resides in Brandon with her husband and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, reading, yoga, and traveling.
